"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that." Bill Shankly

“Desire is the key to motivation, but it’s determination and commitment to an unrelenting pursuit of your goal—a commitment to excellence—that will enable you to attain the success you seek.”

~Mario Andretti

Hello my name is Luke Pybis, I am a 19 goalkeeper, since the age of 11 I have played for Tranmere Rovers and Macclesfield Town, as well as extended trails at Preston and Oldham.

In the first 6 months of the season 2010/11 i was invited to train at the Liverpool Academy with John Achterburg and Mark Morris. 1st team and Academy goalkeeper coaches respectively at Liverpool football club and the under 16 Liverpool squad under Mike Marsh.

I signed for gap Connors Quay, ( Welsh Premiership side) as one of their youth team goalkeepers, I also played for the reserve side, which is an open age side, as their first choice keeper. I left at the end of the 2010/11 season as i was offered a scholarship at a football league club.

I stayed for 2 years with Morecambe FC youth team after gaining a 2 year Scholarship with them.

I have been out of the game for the last 12 months getting the knee sorted, i am back in training and playing again which feels fantastic

i have also gained coaching qualifications as an outfield and goalkeeper coach and shall son be taking my level B goalkeeper badge

(Great save at Wigan for the Liverpool Youth side 2011)
